Secondhand Aussies

Ho Hum, Not New, Just Okay, Probably Crazy Doggos In Need of Love

Lucy's Story

Lucy (formerly Charlotte, born May 9, 2024) returned home to Discovery Hill after spending her first two years with a family that loved her immensely.  Lucy is fun, spunky, and very quirky.  She "dances" when her butt is scratched, chases and tries to catch water from the garden hose, and finds endless entertainment tossing her toys and managing her herding ball.  She hides leftover food when she's not hungry anymore by placing her own fur-tumbleweeds on top of it.  She will take a little time needing to develop trust with new people, but she is so, so very happy to be with them once she does.

Lucy needs to be in a one-pet home with no young children.  She did not adapt well to the stress of living with very young children in the house and for this reason, she is with me today.  Therefore when she finds her new home, I will make no exceptions on this policy.  Lucy is awesome when she is thriving, and I want the next home for her to be one in which both her and her person can do so.

Send in an application if you think this may be a good fit and we can talk further.  Preference will be given to applicants with experience owning Aussies/border collies.
