At Discovery Hill, we are passionate about our Aussie dogs. One of the smartest and most popular breeds in America, it has been a joy establishing our Australian Shepherd kennel and offer puppies bred for companionship. We are home breeders of purebred AKC registered Australian Shepherds.

Champion bloodline Aussies, AKC pre-paid registration, and extensive health testing set us apart in how we work to improve the breed. We love helping people find the perfect Australian Shepherd for their families.

We’ve turned a 120-year-old farmhouse in Vermont to a place where joy, wonder, and magic abounds. Located on nine acres on the side of a mountain, we invite you to discover the charm of our Aussies.

We also collaborated with Lyndonville's "Twisted Doods" for planned Aussie Mix puppies from our sire, Hippo! Twisted Doods breeds AussieDoodle dogs and produced their first batch of F1b AussieDoodle puppies this spring. We are highlighting the last two remaining girls from our work with the home breeder, Jason Faulkner. This affiliation allows us to give the best of both worlds to our customers. Each Aussie breeder has been able to raise their small-batch litters attentively in separate surroundings, and we can offer more selection to our loyal customers. That AussieDoodle temperament is what we love about these girls.

At Discovery Hill Australian Shepherds, we work hard to be your trusted provider of purebred, AKC-registered standard Aussies. We take our responsibilities very seriously and strive to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all our pets. As home breeders offering Australian Shepherd puppies for sale in a world that can sometimes be challenging, we believe in treating others as we would want to be treated. We go above and beyond the testing recommendations as per the guidance of the Australian Shepherds Club of America (ASCA) to include full panel genetic testing for each known breed-specific disease. This means we’re screening not just for the six tests recommended, but running 24 health tests to screen for possible inherited conditions. All dogs are AKC-registered and we are raising ASDR and ASCA-registered dogs as well.

We agree with the European bans on docking and offer Aussies with both full and natural bobtails. Raised inside with family, children, and other animals, we start socialization and temperament imprinting from the moment the puppies are born. And because of our confidence in the testing we perform, we offer a three-year health guarantee on our pups.
